A Snag Leader is used in carp fishing in situations where there is a risk of mainline breakage. Especially on waters with a lot of stones and mussels, it is wise to use a foreshore. Our braided leader material is made from a high performance fiber that sinks quickly and is also easy to splice. This allows you to make very nice tight connections that are also very strong. This new fiber is without a doubt the most abrasion resistant fiber available. During testing, the CW Snag Leader proved to be a lot more abrasion resistant than comparable leaders! And that is of course a very nice fact!
