Helicopter Leaders are now available as a turnkey carp lead system. The helicopter system as the English call it is specially designed for use on soft bottoms. This lead system prevents the hooklength assembly from being dragged into soft mud bottoms by the weight of the lead. In addition, this ready-made lead system is also very fish-friendly. After all, if the main line breaks, the fish will be able to easily get rid of the lead system and only be left with the carp rig. We do, however, recommend that you always use a barbless hook for a truly fish-safe system.
