Enabled by the MQ design the traction wheel is enlarged by up to 40% compared with conventional reels of this size, increasing power transmission and lifespan considerably. By enlarging the teeth in the driving wheel, also the lifespan of the gear is further improved and the MQ design cares for an optimal and distortion-proof housing of the gear within the body. The special coating procedure prevents corrosion under the paint layer. The ATD drag system features premium carbon fiber drag discs and ensures optimum drag performance under strain and without high starting resistance, which additionally enlarges the lifespan, also when frequently applied for extra-tough fights – perfect for medium-sized Tunas, Doggies and GT!
