The robust HMC+ blank is equipped with saltwater-proof titanium oxide guides, DPS-H or DPS reel seat with safety screw and a durable EVA handle. These features make the BG rods a reliable companion during uncompromising fishing trips to the oceans of the globe.
With the Deep Sea versions of the BG series, DAIWA offers outstanding reels for deep sea fishing for cod, halibut or redfish.
The guides and action of these extremely robust blanks, have been perfectly adjusted to the needs of different deep sea fishing techniques with natural bait and lures. Thanks to the long front handle section, you can optimally force the fight with the fish.
The BG Deep Sea rod 11928-175 has a somewhat stiffer blank and thus perfectly matches with fishing in great depth with lures and pirks – ideal for cod, pollack and halibut.
To mount also very heavy multiplier reels securely, the Deep Sea versions have been equipped with a DPS-H reel seat and safety screw.
