The DAIWA Pro Staff series has been created in close cooperation with our DAIWA Teamangler, Nils Gabsa, Marten Laciny, Adrian Prus, Sebastian Bischof, Horst Hennings, Tim Jaschke and Marcel Asbroek.
Or experts have spent many hours at the water during the development, testing numerous prototypes until perfect special rods have been constructed! The blank’s action, the used components, technologies and constructional details as e.g. length of the handle, have especially been designed for perch/zander, vertical, pelagic and pike/Big Bait experts. To satisfy the needs of our Teamangler, numerous of DAIWAs top technologies have been included.
The HVF Nanoplus carbon fiber material enables the construction of very light, slim, fast and – at the same time – extremely resilient blanks. Due to the addition of nano particles, the already small amount of resin has been further reduced. The blanks got even faster and more lightweight!
The X45 carbon fiber construction leads to an improved compression of the blank thanks to the special positioning of the carbon fibers – the blanks are very distortion-proof, enable more precise casts and can be controlled perfectly during the fight and the lure presentation. Aditionally the rods get more resistance against damages. The V-Joint technology stands for an exclusively developed, BIAS carbon fiber layer at the spigot joints, made by DAIWA. This special material makes this usually sensitive part of a rod very robust and improves the bending curve at the same time.
We particularly paid attention to the rod’s balance – the construction of the handle section, the selection of premium, very light Fuji Alconite K-guides and the used materials together stand for the perfect feeling of the rods and enable effortless fishing over hours.
The rods for active catfish hunting were developed together with our team anglers in Poland and Czech Republic.
The Vertical Catfish rod has been exactly matched to the requirements of this successful method from the boat, kajak or belly boat. The 1+1 divided power blank holds large power reserves in the backbone and delivers the sensitivity from the tip, that is needed for successful presentation of the rigs and have fun also at the fight with medium sized specimen. The powerblank offers enough reserves to control also large specimen at every time. Equipped with Fuji ACS baitcasting reel seat, robust EVA handle and round Packbay buttcap for highest comfort.
