The Discover kids EVA Crab fishing set and explorer net has been designed to allow smaller children the opportunity to participate in a simple and very enjoyable crab fishing session which can be a great family activity. The kit includes everything you will need to land, view, and preserve your catch until you release them at the end of the session. The drop net included in the kit features a centre plate with a spring, simply place some bait under the spring and lower the net to the bottom from the pier, harbour wall or jetty, Bacon can make a very good bait for crabs and has lots of scent. Once the net is at the bottom leave it for some time and then haul in your catch if you can see one has crawled into the net. The transparent EVA bucket can be filled with sea water to allow you to view your catch and ensure they are kept wet during the fishing session, once finished release all your catch carefully back to the sea. The Discover set also features a telescopic dipping net for children to explore rockpools, streams, ponds, and view and learn about the natural world around them through play. The whole kit can be folded and packed away very small for transport and storage.
