The Korda Basix Carp Cradle XL is the bigger brother of the extremely popular standard Basix Carp Cradle version. Korda have now changed the dimensions and added a couple of new features building on the status of a top-quality carp fishing product, at a very competitive price.
This Korda Carp Unhooking Mat has been designed to offer the maximum protection to your catch when it is on the bank, whilst at the same time being practical to use and carry. It is made from 70mm high-density padded foam to provide plenty of cushioning, with a waterproof outer layer that is designed to be fish-friendly when wet and wont remove the carps protective slime.
The padded walls of this Korda fishing cradle help ensure that your catch stays safe and within the confines of the cradle. When not in use the Basix Carp Cradle folds in two, and there is space to store a Korda Carp Care Kit and Korda Basix Weigh Sling inside. The carry handles can also be used to peg it down once you’re in a swim to prevent any risk of it blowing away.
The XL version of this Basic Cradle features an additional loop on the underside which will accommodate a weigh sling or a two-piece landing net and is suitable for carp up to 60lb/32kg.
