Alarms operate with AAA batteries, while the receiver operates with a 9V battery, this creates the best possible compromise between energy consumption and wireless range. The new BAT+ bite alarm set is available with blue LED (2+1, 3+1, 4+1) or traditional assorted coloured LED (3+1 and 4+1).
