Die Shimano Curado DC ist eine brandneue Baitcaster Rolle mit integriertem DC-Bremssystem in einer relativ niedrigen Preisklasse. Das Bremssystem I-DC4 (Digital Control) hilft dem Angler, seinen Wurf zu verbessern und die Perückenbildung zu reduzieren. Durch den Einsatz von 6 + 1 Kugellagern zusammen mit dem Micro-Module läuft die Rolle sehr ruhig. Wegen der dreifachen kombination von der Magnumlite-Spule, dem Superfree-Spulensystem und dem I-DC4-Bremssystem kann die Curado DC auch problemlos zum Auswerfen kleiner Köder wie Barsch oder Zander benutzt werden. Seit der Einführung der X-Ship-Technologie hält die Rolle jedoch größeren Kräften stand und eignet sich auch für Kunstköder zum Spinnangeln auf Hecht.
