These Shimano Carp Rods are made using full carbon rod blanks which features HPC (High Pressure Carbon) technology which offers a fantastic balance of power and playability. The tip section of these carp rods feature a T1100G high modulus carbon in the tip section for increase speed and response. The Shimano TX-4 carp rods also benefit from the inclusion of Biofibre reinforcing and Diaflash enhancement. This range of carp rods is not only great looking rods but they squeeze every bit of performance out of your casting technique and ability.
Featuring Seaguide Zirconia Guides which allow your fishing line to flow thorough with little/no friction, and can be used with both monofilament and braided fishing line. These carp rods feature a high quality 3K carbon weave Shimano reel seat which allows you to use even the largest of big pit fishing reels. These Shimano carp rods are finished off with a small front EVA grip and a slim shrink grip handle which has an in-built rest stopper for extra security.
The longer Intensity Shimano TX-4A Carp Rod models are real powerhouses that will enable you to reach long range fish, whilst the 12ft rod (3.66m) models offer a fantastic balance of power and playability. And if range isn’t your thing, check out the shorter 9ft rod (2.74m) stalker and 10ft rod (3.05m) models, which are great for close and mid-range fishing on smaller carp lakes or boat fishing. The Intensity carp rod models have recorded impressive casts well in excess of 200 yards, but it’s the tips that set the TX-4 apart as they offer response, forgiveness and cushioning not usually found in mid-priced long range carp rods.
